Cycling – Bicycle total weight?

Researched and dreaming a little dream … Ultimately, I'm going to buy a touring bike, but have not yet reduced to a specific brand. While doing research, I found nothing to indicate that that should be used as a maximum weight of rider and saddle bags. I found bags of the weight is based on the requirements of GSM, but how you can become too heavy for the bike, wheels, tires (Taking involving a man should be able to push forward the equation)? Also, if you choose to use a trailer (one or two wheels), you need a certain pressure on the bike and how does it change the equation?

In my experience most of all about 30-40 pounds, too … not because the bike racks will not take but because too much work to ride. I was about 45 pounds on a tour of New Zealand and after a week I sent about 15 books in the house things. That said, I go with a couple on a tandem who had 90 kg of equipment and had no problems (other than 10-12% achieve some hills!) But to give an idea of the limits of summer past, I was on tour and met a boy on mountain bike across Canada with what is most he owned. There were bags and Bungie cord orders anywhere … so that he could barely see his own bike. He said it was £ 300 all … including a complete set of pots and pans common! In 3000 km / 2.5 months, had been covered as far as I knew him told me he had replaced his rear wheel on three occasions and one forward once. The bike was so heavy I could run on relatively flat roads, and marched to the hills more than 2-3%. However, averaged about 60 km / day. I'm glad it was not me … but I had to admire his stubbornness. As for the use of a trailer, it would undoubtedly be pressure from the wheels of the trailer bike now take most of the burden, but you still have to push weight, and now includes the trailer. However, it is probably the best and safest way to carry more than 40-50 pounds.
